Winter Camp(Age 7-12)

What makes things move? How do things fly? What makes something go really fast? These are some of the questions our young makers will explore as they craft their own toys. Explore Toy Lab – a place where wonderful ideas and imaginations are brought to life! Toy Lab is where learners experiment with making new toys or come up with new innovations to solve problems in Toy Land.

🗓 Week 1 TOY DESIGNERS December 12-15
⏰ 11am – 1Pm

Toy Maker 2.0: Santa is looking for new ideas. He has heard that you are an expert that knows what kids like. Can you make some of your dream toys to send to Santa?

Aviation Guru: Santa wants to embrace technology – after all, this is the 21st Century! Mrs. Claus and the elves have told him about drones and super fast planes. Can you help design him one?

Car Crafter: Santa loves to learn and his latest fascination is with toy cars. He has heard of the lightning loop in Toy Land and he wants to design a car to enter a race. What kind of cars can you help craft?

City Builder: A devastating earthquake has hit Toy Land, shaking everything like it is made of jelly. Construction City was at the epicenter and is in chaos. Can you help rebuild them a new structure with better balance that will be able to survive the next catastrophe?

🗓 Week 2 TOY MAKERS December 20-23
⏰ 11am – 1Pm

Bot Builder – Spinning Spinnies: Deep in the jeweled caves are energy diamonds that are the secret to the toys powering up. What kind of creatures are there?

Bot Builder – BumbleBots: The BumbleBots in Toy Land are collectors of golden glitter honey that have magical properties. Your imagination is needed to help create more BumbleBots in the world.

Bot Builder – Racing Rovers: Looking out at the Sea of Sparkles horizon, black clouds are starting to gather. The winds have picked up. It’s a tornado! Help the toys escape in time by building a motorized getaway car.

Bot Builder – Toy Fair: You are invited to Santa Claus & Co.’s secret annual International Toy Fair at the North Pole. Every year, toy makers from around the world are hand-picked to showcase their latest and greatest creation. What will you submit?

🗓 Week 3 RECYCLED TOY CREATORS December 26-29
⏰ 11am – 1Pm

This week is about building your own Earth-friendly quests. Challenge your creativity by crafting toys out of recycled materials. Flex your fun muscles while doing good for the planet.
